360° VR video for corporate training: immersive firefighting simulations

For security and training companies, 360-degree virtual reality videos are now a practical tool to complement and reinforce traditional training courses. Indeed, the use of VR makes it possible to offer more engaging content that can improve users’ attention and operational understanding.

For APT Safety Group, we created a 360° video of firefighting simulations, designed to be enjoyed through virtual reality viewers and integrated within professional training programs. The content reproduces realistic scenarios and emergency situations, allowing participants to observe procedures and dynamics in a hands-on, yet safe manner.

360° video production and VR application development

At Shake Srl we deal with the production of 360° video content and the development of VR applications for virtual viewers, supporting companies wishing to innovate training and internal communication through immersive tools.

In this project, we oversaw the entire production process, starting from shooting 360° in realistic environments, through the design of the simulative scenarios, to optimizing the content for smooth and comfortable enjoyment on VR viewers. The video is designed to be easily incorporated into corporate training settings as a support for training and awareness of safety issues.

The goal is not simply to view content, but to create an immersive experience that can help the user understand complex situations and internalize correct behaviors through active observation.

Why use VR video in corporate training

360° videos for training allow critical situations to be simulated without exposing people to real risks and help make learning more effective. The immersive experience fosters engagement, improves memorization of content, and enables consistent and standardized training paths to be offered that can be easily replicated over time.

In the specific case of firefighting simulations, virtual reality allows environments, procedures and behaviors to be shown in the event of an emergency in a clear and contextualized manner, supporting operational learning and risk awareness.

The potential of VR content for businesses

This project highlights how 360-degree VR content can become a strategic tool for safety training, technical training, staff onboarding and corporate communication. The combination of immersive video production and software development for virtual viewers allows for customized solutions designed according to the objectives and real needs of each company.
