To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Sunday insert IL SOLE 24ORE organized the event: 40 years of “Domenica” at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan. The public event was held on Dec. 12 and was open to about 200 people. The centerpiece of the event was the talk-show where, in addition to recalling evolutions and revolutions in our contemporary history, questions were asked to raise the audience’s awareness of the challenges of the future by promoting critical sense aimed at the pursuit of knowledge and awareness.

We took care of the set-up, reception and banqueting.

In the Courtyard of Arms, a digital totem broadcast on a loop the 40 that Sunday posed to its audience. On the Filarete tower and on the boundary wall of the Ducal Courtyard the video projection of Sunday’s 40th anniversary logo.

After the reception, guests were seated in the Visconti Hall set up with a stage, LED screen and 200 seats. The Viscount Hall was scenically isolated from the rest of the route by a wire curtain.

At the end of the convention, the guests’ itinerary continued to the Hall of Pilatres where “The Sphere of Newspapers” emerged over all. Master Michelangelo Pistoletto’s work was made from copies of “Sunday.”

8 video projectors, 4 in the Pillar Room and 4 in the Egyptian Room projected images strategically placed among the catering areas to foster a connection between convivial pleasure and cultural interest.

A 50-meter-long carpet of the same color as Il Sole 24 Ore was spread on the floor of the Egyptian Hall. Color also recalled by the floor lights that illuminated the ceiling curtain. On each table was floral décor that echoed the color of the brand with delicate winter/Christmas elements inserted.

The same mood was recreated around the Backdrop in front of which guests could pose for a photo.
