Lake Como Museum: an immersive experience among the history, nature and culture of Lake Como
The Lake Como Museum is an exciting, multisensory journey to discover the soul of Lake Como. An experiential museum designed to engage visitors through digital, interactive and multimedia installations that tell the story of the area in an innovative, accessible and surprising way.
We oversaw the creative concept, narrative conception and realization of all content and immersive installations, resulting in a path capable of combining history, nature, art and culture in a contemporary and engaging narrative. The result is an immersive experience that the city offers visitors of all ages to learn, get excited and discover Lake Como from new perspectives.
A museum organized as an interactive narrative
The Lake Como Museum is developed through 9 immersive experiences, each designed to stimulate the senses and curiosity, combining technologies such as holograms, videomapping, 360° environments and multisensory rooms.
1. Alessandro Manzoni’s welcome
A hologram of the great writer welcomes visitors, introducing them to the history and identity of the Larian territory in an emotional and engaging language.
2. The Whispers of the Lake – Postcards from the Past.
A narrative installation that brings out memories, stories, and historical images, giving voice to the Lake and its protagonists over time.
3. The Embrace of the Lake – Wonders of the Territory at 360°.
An immersive experience that envelops visitors in spectacular vistas of water, nature and iconic villages through 360-degree projections.
4. In flight over the Lake – videomapping on the model.
An animated model through videomapping tells the story of the evolution of the area, from prehistory to the present day, combining popularization and visual spectacle.
5. Between Rock and Sky – the Lario Mountains.
Mountains become explorable through an interactive climbing wall, combining play, discovery and learning.
6. Pedaling between the Valleys and the Lake.
A virtual cycling experience that allows you to ride along the most beautiful routes in the area, immersing yourself in the landscapes thanks to dynamic video content.
7. Travel in the old Passions of the Lake
A multimedia narrative dedicated to the symbols of Lecco’s industrial and sports culture, which have made the area famous throughout the world.
8. Swimming in the Lake of Balls
An immersive and engaging selfie point designed to share the museum experience on social media as well and create a memorable memory.
9. Taste our Best Wines
Wine tasting tours with wines from Lake Como and Valtellina, ending the journey with an authentic sensory experience.
