Christmas in Como: immersive installations and interactive experiences for families
Over the Christmas period, Spazio Natta has been transformed into a hub of immersive experiences and interactive installations, becoming one of the focal points for Christmas events in Como.
From Dec. 6 to Jan. 6, the project involved children and families in an emotional journey capable of combining technology, storytelling and entertainment, enhancing the city center through an innovative and accessible format.
We oversaw concept, design and implementation of the experiences, developing high-engagement immersive environments designed for family audiences.
Santa’s Sleigh: an immersive journey between Como and the North Pole
The heart of the experience was Santa’s Sleigh, an interactive installation that allowed groups of up to 10 participants to experience a unique virtual journey.
Visitors would board the sled to fly over:
- the iconic monuments of Como
- the first lake basin
- mountain landscapes and fantastic scenery
- visual suggestions such as the aurora borealis
The trip culminated in Rovaniemi, where participants met Santa Claus in a highly emotional and personalized moment.
The direct interaction with the protagonist, immersive storytelling and visual component made for a memorable experience, with a duration designed to ensure maximum engagement and smooth enjoyment.
The Kaleidoscope: a magic box of light, color and imagination
Next to the sleigh, the Christmas Kaleidoscope represented a second experiential space with high visual and emotional impact.
A true multisensory immersive installation, designed as a magic box in which visitors were enveloped by:
- dynamic light games
- Iconic symbols of Christmas in motion
- kaleidoscopic projections and patterns
Within the space, adults and children became an active part of the experience, surrounded by a visual merry-go-round of ever-changing colors and shapes.
The Kaleidoscope was also designed as a selfie experience, a perfect space for social content, capable of stimulating sharing and amplifying the visibility of the event.
An environment that combines aesthetics, play and memory, bringing the audience back to experience the magic of Christmas in a contemporary and engaging way.
Immersive event installations: technology, emotion and participation
The project demonstrated how immersive installations for Christmas events can transform an urban space into a shared experience, increasing the attractiveness of the area and public involvement.
From creative design to technical development, we have integrated:
- interactive environments
- multimedia content
- experiential storytelling
- dynamics of collective fruition
An approach that combines digital innovation and experiential entertainment, ideal for public events, brand activation and cultural projects.
An experiential Christmas between innovation and territory
Spazio Natta’s installations have helped redefine the concept of a Christmas event, turning it into an immersive experience capable of bringing together families, technology and imagination.
A project designed to excite, engage and leave a lasting memory, enhancing Como as a destination for innovative and quality events.
